MOUNTAIN WIZARD DEATH CULT ANNOUNCE EP RELEASE SHOWS

Sydney’s own heavy sludge doom metal outfit Mountain Wizard Death Cult will be hitting the road across April and May to celebrate the release of their forthcoming EP Vitrify, bringing their immersive, riff-driven live show to a run of intimate east coast dates.

Known for their hypnotic repetition and a stage presence that leans as much into ritual as it does raw sound, the band have steadily built a reputation for engulfing rooms in waves of distortion and atmosphere. Vitrify captures that same intensity expansive, weighty and unashamedly loud marking a sharpened evolution of the sound fans have come to expect.

The tour will see Mountain Wizard Death Cult road-testing new material alongside crowd favourites, delivering a set designed to be experienced. With limited-capacity venues and a loyal underground following, these shows promise sweat-soaked rooms, crushing low end and a celebration of Vitrify in its most natural environment.
